ALFRED VALENZUELA is a retired major general who commanded the U.S. Army South at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico; and Fort Sam Houston. He served as deputy commanding general of U.S. Southern Command in Panama and Doral, Florida, and served in Kuwait with the 3rd Infantry Division.
