Catherine Bamford is the CEO and Founder of BamLegal, a legal technology consultancy helping to improve the delivery of legal services for all. She was named by the Financial Times as a Top Ten Legal Technologist, won a European Women in Law Tech award in 2020 and has just been listed as a Women of Legal Tech 2021 Honoree by the American Bar Association LTRC.
Amongst many roles throughout her career, she has worked as a lawyer and senior legal engineer with Pinsent Masons LLP, was Director of Legal Engineering at Deloitte Legal and was a Non-Executive Board Member and Investor in Wavelength Law before it was sold successfully last year to Simmons and Simmons LLP.
BamLegal helps law firms and in-house legal departments improve the delivery of their legal services through the smart application of legal technology. Catherine also mentors, advises and invests in Legal Tech start-ups, as well as teaching law students about the future of law.
