William Menard is a managing attorney in the business visa department at the Root Law Group, a full-service Spanish- and Russian-speaking immigration law firm serving clients in Los Angeles and nearby Orange, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.
Menard got his start in a small Pennsylvania immigration law firm and immediately found himself on the front lines of immigration-related litigation, learning on his feet in courtrooms and detention centers. In a few years, he stepped up to a larger firm before moving on to Los Angeles and his current position. He has practiced in virtually every area of immigration law, from detention hearings to appeals courts.
Menard has worked with clients from around the globe, including Canada, Mexico, El Salvador, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Armenia, Japan, China, Myanmar, and many more. He practices in a broad range of business-related visas, including for those working in highly skilled positions, entrepreneurs seeking to start businesses in the United States, employees transferring to U.S. offices for international companies, and foreign nationals with extraordinary abilities in the arts and athletics. He is also the host of the podcast “The American Immigrant.”
He earned his bachelor’s degree at Claremont McKenna College and his JD at St. John’s University School of Law.
