Murray Silverstein is managing partner in Greenspoon Marder’s Tampa office. He has over 36 years’ experience in complex commercial, business, and real estate litigation in the state and federal trial and appellate courts of Florida. Mr. Silverstein is board certified and has been recertified since the mid-1990s in civil trial practice and business litigation by The Florida Bar. He regularly handles jury and non-jury trials. His practice areas include cases involving unfair competition, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, intellectual property disputes, consumer finance litigation and class action defense, construction and real property disputes, health care litigation, and professional licensing matters before administrative agencies. Mr. Silverstein is a trained mediator and invited member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (schedule mediation). In addition to his active practice, Mr. Silverstein has, since 2006, served as a Florida Supreme Court-appointed member of the Florida Courts Technology Commission, a 25-member public body responsible for making policy recommendations to the Court on statewide technology in the trial and appellate courts of Florida.
