Mathew R. Kerbis is an associate attorney at Condon & Cook, LLC focusing his practice in civil litigation defense of first-party and third-party insurance and personal injury matters. His practice includes business and real estate transactions. He has negotiated transactions involving multinational corporate franchises and has collectively helped hundreds of clients with their transactional, civil litigation, and appellate legal needs.
Throughout his tenure as an American Bar Association leader, Mathew has advocated for legal education reform, interviewed ABA Presidents and State Appellate and Supreme Court Justices, and lobbied Congress on behalf of the legal profession. He is a speaker at high schools and colleges for prospective law students and engages in one-on-one mentoring with pre-law college students and law students. Mathew also volunteers as a judge for moot court and negotiation competitions. As a law student, he served as an extern for the Honorable Justice Robert E. Gordon of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.
When not practicing law, Mathew entertains as a cast member of the Chicago Bar Show, a nearly 100 year old tradition of singing, dancing, and acting attorneys.
