Lisa Green is a legal analyst and senior producer for NBC News.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Lisa was a reporter for Dow Jones, contributing to The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s, then attended law school at New York University while working as a reporter and columnist for The National Law Journal. After graduation, Lisa worked for Debevoise & Plimpton in New York, litigating cases involving securities fraud, employment law, First Amendment, new media and copyright claims, before joining NBC as a lawyer for the news division in 1996.
Lisa is the co-author of the privacy law chapter of International Privacy, Publicity and Personality Laws (2001) and was a researcher for In Our Defense, the Bill of Rights in Action (1991). She frequently lectures on journalism, law and ethics issues.
