Lesley Fair is a Senior Attorney with the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, where she has represented the FTC in numerous investigations of deceptive advertising and consumer fraud. Ms. Fair writes a monthly column in Electronic Retailer magazine, is editor in-chief of ABA Consumer Protection Update, and has contributed four chapters to books on consumer protection law. In addition, she has served on the adjunct faculty of the Catholic University School of Law since 1984. Before joining the FTC, Ms. Fair clerked for United States District Judge Fred Shannon and served as a staff counsel to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
