Eunice Nakamura

Eunice Nakamura is in her second season with the Texas Rangers after being hired as senior vice president and general counsel in February 2025.

She joined the Rangers, an MLB professional baseball team based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, after serving as chief legal officer/general counsel and corporate secretary for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., in Dallas. At Komen, Nakamura oversaw the legal, internal audit, risk management, and compliance functions globally for the organization. Prior to Komen, she served as vice president of legal for a national hospitality company and held broad legal responsibilities. Nakamura began her career practicing as a commercial litigator at a Dallas law firm, representing corporations and organizations of all sizes in various industries.

She is active both in the legal and overall community and has served in and continues to serve in various board roles. Nakamura is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences around the country and has been recognized by the State Bar of Texas, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and other organizations for her accomplishments throughout her legal career.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Baylor University and obtained her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. Nakamura lives in Dallas with her husband, Dice, son Chayse, and two Goldendoodles. When not practicing law, she and her husband can be found supporting Chayse on the youth baseball circuit. Nakamura is an avid sports, travel, coffee, and food enthusiast.
