Britney E. Harrison is an associate of GoransonBain Ausley in Dallas, where she practices family law. She has been a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association Board of Directors since 2016. Harrison served as the executive committee adviser to the Law Focused Education Committee and the Public Service in the Community Committee. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas Women in the Profession Committee. Harrison first became involved in bar service through the Austin Black Lawyers Association, for which she served as vice president. She also served as a director for the Austin Young Lawyers Association, participated in the Austin Bar Association AYLA Leadership Academy, is a graduate of the State Bar’s LeadershipSBOT Class of 2015|2016, and is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Harrison graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Texas in 2006 and with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2010. In addition to bar service, she enjoys teaching English as a second language at Literacy Achieves, volunteering with Promise House to help homeless youth, and mentoring students interested in practicing law.
