Aliza Hochman Bloom is an assistant professor of law and an expert on criminal procedure, Fourth Amendment doctrine and criminal sentencing reform. Professor Hochman Bloom’s research focuses on criminal procedure, particularly exploring various aspects of Fourth Amendment doctrine and its application. Before joining the legal academy, Professor Hochman Bloom worked as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the appellate division of the Middle District of Florida.
