Judge John Tran became a circuit court judge in Fairfax County, Virginia in 2013. Prior to his appointment, Judge Tran was a state and federal prosecutor in Alexandria, Virginia, and later a litigation partner in the law firm of DiMuroGinsberg PC. In addition to his duties as a presiding judge in the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, Judge Tran has served on the Virginia Supreme Court’s advisory committee on the rules of court and is a member of the Boyd-Graves Conference.
