Zachary L. Catanzaro

Zachary L. Catanzaro is a small business and entrepreneurship lawyer who focuses on intellectual property and emergent technologies, including cryptocurrency and blockchain. Zachary is an adjunct professor at St. Thomas University School of Law, where he teaches Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

Zachary is a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Section of the Florida Bar and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is an active member of the Florida Bar Standing Advertising Committee, the Florida Bar Digital Currency Task Force and serves as the Second Vice Chair of the Florida Bar eDiscovery and Digital Evidence Committee.

Zachary was a distinguished law student, having interned for the Honorable Justice James E.C. Perry (ret.) of the Florida Supreme Court, the Honorable Magistrate Barry S. Seltzer of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, and for Kain Spielman PA, a complex intellectual property litigation boutique located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to graduating magna cum laude with multiple dean’s list awards, he received best student awards in the areas of Intellectual Property, Antitrust, Trade Secrets, Constitutional Law (Bill of Rights), Criminal Law, and Civil Procedure I and II.
