Michael Faraci is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Vista Analytics. His main area of expertise is litigation discovery with a focus on strategy surrounding collection, review, and production of complex electronic data. His experience in the information technology industry includes systems engineering, data analytics, application development, configuration and release management, and relational database development.
Michael is often engaged as a technical expert to assess a company’s IT systems and retention policies as they relate to current or pending litigation. He has been named as clients’ 30(b)(6) expert on several engagements. He has been in front of the DOJ, SEC and FBI to explain and defend the processes used to obtain and review data for production. Michael also has deep experience in large scale data analytics projects. His experience deploying and modifying complex ERP systems e.g. Oracle Financials & SAP, gives him the skill set to help clients determine how to best understand and extract large and complex data sets for analysis.
Michael’s experience includes work on many of the highest profile regulatory investigations in the world. His clients have included numerous Fortune 500 companies spanning the financial services, telecommunications, media, defense and manufacturing industries. On these engagements he has led teams in securing data in a forensically defensible manner and has worked with his clients to develop efficient solutions to review the potentially responsive data sets. These engagements regularly involve the review and production of millions of documents.
