Introducing the New Lunch Hour Legal Marketing
07/09/2018
Gyi Tsakalakis: Lavender blue, dilly-dilly Lavender green. You heard that song?
Kelly Street: No. How old are you?
Gyi Tsakalakis: 99. That’s the only place I was able to find this whole dilly-dilly thing unless someone was just like super-inspired one day. I don’t even know who is creative agency is for about life but I will tell you it’s catchy; here we are talking about it.
Kelly Street: Here we are. I wouldn’t have been talking about it but I am so glad that you are.
Gyi Tsakalakis: Welcome listeners! It’s Lunch Hour Legal Marketing with me Gyi Tsakalakis and my co-host Kelly Street.
Kelly Street: Hello! Yay that’s me. I am Kelly Street. You might be thinking these are not the voices that I am used to hearing for Lunch Hour Legal Marketing and that is because Gyi and I are taking over. We are re-launching and rebooting Lunch Hour Legal Marketing.
Gyi Tsakalakis: And we are super excited and thankful for the great foundation that Jared and Heidi have laid for us and we are big shoes to fill here. So we are trying to beat their standard and raise the bar for providing great legal marketing tips over your Lunch Hour, thanks for tuning in.
Kelly Street: Yes. So we are going to kind of take it from where they had it with interviews and talking about different things that constitute legal marketing, client development all of that stuff and continue to give you guys actionable tips that you can take into your firm or whatever professional services area you are in and grow your business, make some money. So Gyi, what is your expertise, why should people listen to legal marketing podcast with you Gyi Tsakalakis?
Gyi Tsakalakis: Well I have no idea. Why would someone listen to a Legal Marking Podcast with me?
Kelly Street: Well you do own a digital marketing agency and –
Gyi Tsakalakis: True.
Kelly Street: …are a former lawyer…
Gyi Tsakalakis: True.
Kelly Street: …and you do have me as your director of marking for your Digital Marketing Agency.
Gyi Tsakalakis: Thank goodness.
Kelly Street: Yes and we do have another podcast that deals with legal marketing that we kind of got our feet wet in the podcasting world. So I guess, check, check, and check we both have marketing experience, we know the legal field and we are familiar with podcasting. So there you go guys.
Gyi Tsakalakis: Put it on your calendar, mark it down every day for lunch, no not every day, how often we are doing this?
Kelly Street: About once a month. We will be having episodes come out around once a month, maybe a little bit more if we get some really good guess, but that’s the thing as we want to keep the guests high quality, people who are doing really cool things in the marketing world. Thought leaders that could include lawyers, authors, podcasters, you name it, anyone who is doing cool things with marketing we are going to try to get them to talk about how what their thinking is, is in line with what lawyers need to hear about marketing.
Gyi Tsakalakis: Great. So make sure if you are not subscribing, that you subscribe on iTunes or Legal Talk Network or wherever you get your podcast. So thanks for tuning in and get ready because episode one is about to drop.
