Jason Smith has spent his career assisting legal professionals with the use and development of technology in the practice of law. His experience includes complex enterprise and legal software implementation (including matter management/e-billing, document management, contract management, etc), trial technology consulting, and experience as a licensed attorney. He has consulted on some of the nation’s largest trials, has been instrumental in the founding of several successful startup companies, and was part of the team that introduced the first mobile app for Texas lawyers (for which he was awarded the State Bar of Texas Award of Merit). Jason is a frequent presenter at CLE and Legal Technology conferences around the world on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Contract Management, Blockchain, Matter Management, Document Management, e-Billing, Emerging Trends, Social Networking, Mobile Apps, Data Privacy, Security and Encryption. He is licensed to practice law in State of Texas and the United States Supreme Court.
