Kristoffer W. Tieber devotes most of his practice to criminal appeals, post conviction proceedings, and federal habeas litigation,and is committed to providing personal, attentive and individualized representation to each client. Kris has worked throughout the state on a variety of criminal appellate cases, and speaks to prisoners, advising them of the appellate process. He actively participates in the legal profession as a member of organizations such as the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, and the Ingham County Bar Association. Kris also continually attends training seminars to build up his wealth of knowledge, and to guarantee that the Tieber Law Office is aware of every change in the field of criminal law. Kris graduated Cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and had the distinguished opportunity to have been trained in appellate practice by one of the top criminal appellate lawyers in the country, F. Martin Tieber. Kris has worked at the Tieber Law Office since 2004, and has assisted with, and handled cases, in the Michigan Circuit Courts, Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, Federal District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
