Joe Patrice is an Editor at Above the Law. He previously practiced as a litigator at both Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and Lankler Siffert & Wohl, representing a variety of individuals, institutions, and foreign sovereigns in criminal and civil matters. Joe is also a host on the Legal Talk Network podcast Thinking Like A Lawyer.
Chas Rampenthal has served as general counsel for LegalZoom since 2003 and as corporate secretary since 2007. Before joining LegalZoom, Chas was a partner at Belanger and Rampenthal, LLC and an associate at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP and Thelen Reid & Priest LLP. He also served as an officer and aviator in the United States Navy. Chas received his B.S. in economics and math studies from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.
Loud and proud of his Texas roots, Bryan E. Wilson was born and raised in Fort Worth. Bryan, otherwise known as the Texas Law Hawk, is licensed as an attorney and counselor at law, admitted to practice in state courts by the Supreme Court of Texas. Recently, Fort Worth, Texas Magazine selected Bryan as a 2015 Top Attorney of Tarrant County in Criminal Law with under five years of practice. In January of 2016, Above the Law honored Bryan with the 2015 Lawyer of the Year award for showing “the world that yes, lawyers can have a sense of humor.” Bryan has been featured or interviewed by many publications including CNN, Fox News, Huffington Post, and ABC News.
