Katie DeBord is vice president of product strategy at DISCO, a publicly traded company that provides and develops cloud-based artificial intelligence-powered legal solutions that simplify eDiscovery, legal document review, and case management for businesses, law firms, legal services providers, and governments. DeBord helps guide DISCO’s product strategy as the company continues to expand offerings across the litigation lifecycle and into new practice areas.
DeBord was previously the global chief innovation officer at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner where she led the firm’s international cross-disciplinary team dedicated to the innovation and optimization of legal services. She managed a team of lawyers, technology leaders, and related professionals to implement new practice technologies and innovations. She began her legal career at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP as a trial attorney. Her first job out of college was a CIA analyst.
DeBord is a frequent speaker about legal innovation at industry conferences, educational venues, podcasts, and thought leadership events. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Kansas and her JD at the George Washington University School of Law.
