Experienced bar association professional Karen Korr shares with Russ Jones some of the most innovative programs and member-engagement initiatives she’s seen bar groups implement over the last year.
From Sangria and Secrets with Drag Queens (New Haven) to Friends and Family Drive-In Movie Nights (Massachusetts), Korr says many bar groups adapted during the pandemic with innovative initiatives.
Korr also praises bar groups that led initiatives to support the community. In Baton Rouge, bar members received kits to make masks that the bar donated to those in need. In Birmingham, bar members volunteered to review business interruption policies for local businesses in need of free legal advice.
