After graduation from law school, Melissa Whitehead served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Marvin E. Aspen of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Melissa spent the next four years as an associate in the Litigation and Trial Practice Group of Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, GA. There, she focused her practice on complex litigation, including antitrust and general business litigation. Melissa moved home to Louisville and joined Tachau Meek in 2014, where she continues her practice in business litigation. Melissa also represents clients in employment disputes, lender liability matters and trademark litigation.
