Maria Sager is a partner with Boxer and Gerson, LLP in San Francisco, California, and is a workers’ compensation certified specialist. She is the chair of the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the California Lawyers Association, where she has served for six years.
Maria is on Centro Legal de la Raza’s Youth Law Academy Advisory Committee, and has mentored students from Centro Legal de la Raza’s Youth Law Academy, a program designed to assist Oakland students graduate from high school, college, and law school the last eight years. She is also a frequent speaker on the radio program Información es Poder (Information is Power) where she discusses Workers’ Compensation law in Spanish. She is also a participant of the San Francisco Mexican Consulate’s Labor Rights Week where she educates members of the Consulates of Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras on workers’ compensation law. She was recently named an attorney consulate of the San Francisco Mexican Consulate.
