Laura Collins is an associate in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s antitrust, competition and trade group. She works on a range of U.S. and international antitrust law issues, and has particular experience representing clients with respect to the U.S. merger control and review process, multijurisdictional merger control, and civil antitrust litigation. Prior to joining Freshfields, Laura was a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she participated in investigations and litigation in the telecommunications, electronic books, transportation, electricity, and agriculture industries. Ms. Collins is an active member of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law, serving as the Young Lawyers Division representative to the Transportation and Energy Industries Commission. She received a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2010, and an A.B. from Princeton University in 2006.
