Julie Merow is a public finance attorney at Jackson Kelly PLLC in Charleston, West Virginia. Julie grew up in Morgantown, home of West Virginia University, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations at WVU before graduating from the WVU College of Law in 2020. Her practice includes financing and development of infrastructure projects with an emphasis on water, wastewater, highways, public facilities, and economic development projects. Julie worked in several marketing and public relations roles during undergrad, and was a press intern for Senator Joe Manchin in Washington, D.C. following her senior year.
During her second year of law school, she was elected to the American Bar Association Law Student Division Council where she sat as the Delegate of Communications, Publications, and Outreach. Julie is currently a District Representative on the ABA Young Lawyers Division Council (District 18, WV/OH), a member of the National Conference Team, and the incoming ABA State Membership Chair for West Virginia.
For fun, Julie enjoys being outside, making new recipes, and watching as much college football and basketball as possible.
