Wasim Quadir spent seven years working at Arnold & Porter in both the M&A and tech-transaction practices. His time there led him to the conclusion that the existing process for drafting contracts is broken, leading him to co-found DraftLens with Steve Shwartz. The DraftLens team utilizes natural language processing algorithms to eliminate many of the traditional inefficiencies found in contract drafting and improve the quality of the attorney’s work product to reduce risk for the client.
Wasim Quadir discusses how he left the practice of law to fix not only the inefficiencies in contract drafting, but to reduce risk for clients by helping firms create better products.
