Vivian Maese is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Maese is Co-chair of the firm’s Financial Institutions Industry Group and FinTech Industry Group, and is a member of the Corporate Department. Her practice focuses primarily on complex transactions in the financial services industry, as well as regulatory compliance issues and intellectual property. Ms. Maese applies her exceptionally strong experience representing market leaders on the cutting edge of law, technology and financial services, to provide solutions to complex problems. Prior to Latham, Ms. Maese was the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at BIDS Trading, an ATS and a financial services industry consortium. Prior to BIDS, Ms. Maese was responsible for all legal issues related to US Cash Trading and Market Data at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and worked with the Specialist Community and the Securities and Exchange Commission to approve a new market model for the NYSE at the time Regulation National Market Structure was implemented.
