Trish McCubbin is a retired Professor of Environmental Law at the Southern Illinois University School of Law. She is an expert on the Clean Air Act and has written or spoken on many different aspects of the statute. She is the co-author of a chapter on the CAA in Law of Environmental Protection published by the Environmental Law Institute. Before entering academia, Professor McCubbin was an attorney with the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she received several awards for distinguished service. Prior to joining the Justice Department, she was in private practice in Washington, D.C., and counseled clients on compliance with environmental laws.
