Tom Stewart is a highly experienced special consultant at the O’Brien Law Firm, having worked extensively in nationwide consumer class action litigation, medical negligence litigation, business litigation, and product liability. He brings many years of exceptional experience to his role at the firm.
In addition to his work at the O’Brien Law Firm, Tom is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Trial Advocacy program at Saint Louis University School of Law. During his career at the university, he has coached trial teams for competition, served as an adjunct professor, and joined the faculties of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), the Missouri Attorney General, and The Missouri Bar Trial Institute.
Tom was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1986 and the Illinois Bar in 1987. He has received numerous awards, including the 2007 Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys Outstanding Service Award and the 1997 Lon O. Hocker award for excellence in trial advocacy from the Missouri Bar Foundation. He has previously served as the President of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and as a member of the 21st Circuit Judicial Evaluation Committee.
