Tom L. Drew, a longtime New Solo listener, has been practicing law for 35 years. Growing up in a small town, the son of a “country lawyer,” he always knew he wanted to practice law. Drew’s Des Moines, Iowa, practice focuses on personal injury, auto accidents, workers’ compensation, construction accidents, and catastrophic accidents. When he’s not working, Drew enjoys flying airplanes and is an airline transport rated pilot and a certified instrument flight instructor. He owns and flies a Beechcraft 58 Baron and a Piper Cherokee 140. He earned his J.D. at the Drake University Law School and his bachelor’s degree at the University of Iowa. He is past president of the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, past chair of the litigation section of the Iowa State Bar Association, and a fellow at the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers.
We’re not just about New Solo practitioners. In this episode, we talk with a veteran attorney about adding the newest in tech to an established small practice.
