Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Tom has deep roots in the area. After high school, he attended Lindenwood University where he graduated with an accounting degree. Tom’s academic efforts led him to be named business student of the year in 1997. Thereafter, Tom worked in the accounting and finance profession for many years until he decided to further his education and obtain his law degree from Saint Louis University, where again his academic efforts were recognized when he graduated with Honors in Real Estate Transactions.
An entrepreneur at heart, Tom’s areas of practice include:
– real estate
– banking (collections and mortgage foreclosure)
– local government representation
– probate
– business and commercial litigation and appeals
– criminal defense
– divorce and other family matters
Tom is rapidly developing a commercial and real estate litigation practice throughout central and southern Illinois. His conservative but aggressive approach and hard-earned experience in litigation matters makes him perfectly suited to oversee the firm’s litigation practice.
Illinois attorney Thomas DeVore discusses the cases against Governor Pritzker to re-open Illinois businesses.
