Tamara R. Lave, is a professor of law from the University of Miami. Tamara teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, criminal procedure adjudication, and evidence. After graduating from Stanford Law School, Professor Lave was a deputy public defender for ten years in San Diego, California. In 2005, Professor Lave left the public defender’s office to start a doctoral program in Jurisprudence and Social Policy, an interdisciplinary law and society program, at the University of California, Berkeley.
