Stephanie A. Scharf, Ph.D. is founding partner of Scharf Banks Marmor LLC, a prominent national women-owned law firm, representing corporate clients. She is also a founding principal of The Red Bee Group LLC, a consulting firm that helps businesses achieve their goals for growth and innovation using data-based strategies with diverse and inclusive solutions.
Scharf is a former President of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) and former Chair of the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession. She was 2015-2016 special advisor to the ABA Presidential Commission on Diversity and Inclusion 360. In addition to a law degree from the University of Chicago, Scharf has a Ph.D. in behavioral sciences. Before practicing law, she managed big data research in health and employment. Since practicing law, she has created and authored over 20 national survey reports about professional advancement and leadership.
Scharf earned her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University, her master’s degree at Stanford University, and her JD and Ph.D. at the University of Chicago.
