Shelly A. Walker serves as a regional office administrator and paralegal manager for the Paralegal Services department at the Polsinelli law firm in the Kansas City, Missouri, office. Prior to joining the management team, she supported the Products Liability and Toxic Tort practice as a paralegal with an emphasis on asbestos defense. As the regional office administrator, Walker works closely with the office’s managing partners and office administrators in Polsinelli’s 21 offices to support the firm’s vision and provide continuity between offices. As the paralegal manager, she is responsible for leading and managing a team of paraprofessionals in the paralegal services department.
Before joining Polsinelli, Walker worked as an adult abuse clerk for Jackson County Circuit Court in Independence, Missouri. She started her career in Polsinelli as a docket specialist and as a paralegal for the Products Liability and Toxic Tort practice. She has been with Polsinelli for more than 26 years and has a strong litigation background.
Walker helped establish and served as the chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. She earned her bachelor’s degree at MidAmerica Nazarene University and her paralegal certificate at William Jewell University.
