Shannon Sanders is a Black writer and attorney, and the author of the upcoming linked short story collection Company. Her short fiction has earned the 2020 PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers and has been featured in publications such as One Story, TriQuarterly, Joyland, and Electric Literature, among others. She resides in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and their three sons.
