Shannon Knapp is a recent Syracuse graduate and now Associate in the prestigious Central New York law firm, Bond, Schoeneck & King. Shannon assists clients in a wide range of data privacy and compliance issues. She uses her legal research and writing skills to serve clients concerning various state, federal, and international cybersecurity and data privacy laws.

Shannon holds certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the largest global information privacy community for professionals who have developed their careers managing data privacy. Her practice includes issues related to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), data breach obligations and other U.S. data privacy laws. She also drafts and reviews data privacy-related policies including data privacy agreements, data processing agreements and privacy and terms of use policies.
