She served as Director of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance from 2021 to 2023 and is the author of the forthcoming Untamed Unicorns: Why Startup Finance is Broken and How to Fix It (Harvard University Press). She holds a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB from Princeton University.
