Patricia Lee Refo, a partner with Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix, is chair of the American Bar Association’s policy-making House of Delegates. Previously, she was Arizona’s elected state delegate to the House of Delegates. She also served in the House of Delegates from 1998 to 2001 and from 2005 to the present. Refo is a former chair of the ABA Section of Litigation, the ABA Standing Committee on Membership and the American Jury Project. She was also a member of the ABA Commission on Civic Education and the Separation of Powers.
Refo’s practice is concentrated in complex commercial litigation and internal investigations, with extensive experience in financial institutions litigation, professional malpractice defense, class actions, trade secret litigation, and commercial and business torts. She chairs Snell & Wilmer’s Professional Liability Litigation group. Refo received her J.D. from the University of Michigan.
