Nikki Mehrpoo is the first and only California dual certified legal specialist in immigration and Workers’ Compensation law. She is a practicing attorney as well as a professor of law at West Los Angeles College and has served as a California Workers’ Compensation judge, an arbitrator, and as an expert witness.
Mehrpoo has been an advocate for California injured workers and for immigrants from all over the world, focusing her practice on workers’ compensation and immigration law. She began her legal career in 1997 immediately after earning her law degree. As a refugee from Iran, she understands the issues and hardships her clients face every day. She has been recognized for legal knowledge and experience by Los Angeles Magazine, Super Lawyers, Avvo.com, and Martindale Hubbell. She is also an author and editor of several legal publications.
Mehrpoo earned her bachelor’s degree at California State University Northridge and her JD at Pepperdine law.
