Nancy Maurice

Nancy Maurice is an associate at New York City’s Nilson Law Group, specializing in commercial law and mergers and acquisitions. She is a native French speaker, fluent in English with a professional working proficiency level in Spanish and Portuguese (she learned Portuguese because she lost a bet with a friend). 

Prior to joining The Nilson Law Group as an associate in July, 2022, Maurice worked as a litigation attorney in New Orleans and as law clerk in several firms in Paris where she gained experience in international commercial litigation, business contracts, and a variety of corporate matters. 

She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and of the American Bar Association where she serves as an appointed Young Leader.

She earned her bachelor of law degree at the University of Essex, England; her maitrise and master’s degree at Universitė Paris Nanterre; and her JD at Louisiana State University Law School.
