Michael Dumas is an assistant District Attorney at Androscoggin County District Attorney.. He is a 2016 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law in Portland, Maine.
Dumas worked as a data security administrator and in various business positions before coming to Maine Law in the fall of 2013. As a consultant, Dumas has managed several political campaigns. He has worked as an intern for attorney Thomas P. Peters II, and at the Androscoggin County District Attorney’s Office.
In the Student Bar Association at Maine Law, Dumas has served as an officer and representative to the ABA. He has held a variety of leadership positions including Lt. Governor for Student Bar Associations, ABA Law Student Division, First Circuit; Law Student Division Liaison to ABA Section on State & Local Government (2014-2015); Law Student Division Liaison to ABA Section on Tort Trial and Insurance Practice’s Long Range Planning Committee (2014-2015); Vice-Chair of ABA Section on Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s Trial Techniques Committee (2014-2015); Co-Chair, Law Students Committee, ABA Section on State & Local Government (2014-2015); Editor, State & Local Government for Students eNews (2014-2015).
