Maryam Ahranjani

Maryam Ahranjani is an experienced law professor at the University of New Mexico (UNM), where she teaches in the areas of constitutional, criminal and education law. She is an internationally-recognized expert on education law, and has authored numerous book chapters, law review articles, and is the co-author of the textbook Youth Justice in America.
Maryam Ahranjani currently serves as the Reporter of the ABA Women in Criminal Justice Task Force, co-chair of the ABA Criminal Justice Section Women in Criminal Justice Committee, and a member of the ABA Standing Committee on Silver Gavel Awards.
