Mark Romance is a seasoned trial and appellate attorney and a partner at Day Pitney LLP in the Miami office. He represents diverse clients in commercial litigation and other complex litigation including non-compete, trade secret, class action, banking and consumer finance, intellectual property, real estate, product liability, and estate and trust litigation.
Romance has extensive experience representing clients in cases involving multimillion dollar claims, often in defense of Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes litigation. He has won numerous summary judgments and judgments after trial for clients in complex litigation cases and has handled a diverse range of litigation matters, including disputes involving product defect claims, non-compete and theft of trade secret claims, consumer finance, real estate, and breach of contract claims. Romance also defends corporations against class claims brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). He has obtained favorable results in trial courts, arbitration, and in state and federal appellate courts.
He earned his bachelor’s degree at the George Washington University and his JD at the Saint Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump School of Law.
