Lyssa L. Thaden is the managing director of the Center for Education and Financial Capability at AccessLex Institute. She has conducted research on financial literacy issues, created financial education content and curriculum, and consulted with a wide variety of institutions on the best ways to engage their students, faculty and staff on integrating financial education on their campuses. Lyssa has a BS in mathematics education and computer science (Rocky Mountain College), her MA in organizational leadership (Gonzaga University), and her Ph.D. in sociology (Washington State University). She is also an Accredited Financial Counselor® and an adjunct faculty member for Eastern Washington University.
