Luis Scott is the owner and managing partner of Atlanta-based Bader | Scott Injury Lawyers.
Scott focuses on helping people who have been injured or disabled in serious accidents. As managing partner, he directs the strategic planning of the firm and guides every aspect of the firm.
Prior to taking the helm at Bader | Scott, he was the managing partner of another multimillion-dollar firm where he oversaw thousands of cases involving real people with real, life-changing injuries.
Scott also has personal experience, having been in an auto accident and having filed a personal claim for Workers’ Compensation. He knows what it’s like to be in those situations and how frustrating it can feel.
Scott began his legal career in 2001 as an intern and interpreter for the Chief Magistrate Court Judge of Clayton County, Georgia. Subsequently interpreting in civil litigation, mediations and criminal proceedings, he joined a firm and rose through the ranks from a part-time interpreter in 2004 to the managing partner of the firm just 10 years later.
A native of Puerto Rico, Scott came to Georgia after he was recruited to play baseball for the University of West Georgia where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He earned his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, National Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Institute of Legal Counsel.
