Lisa Wolmart

Lisa Martinez Wolmart is the Chief Legal Officer at Prudential Financial, Inc. Previously, she worked as a Legal Director for Merck & Co., Inc., managing complex commercial litigation, product liability, and multidistrict litigation. Wolmart has over 15 years of experience representing Fortune 50 and 100 companies in complex commercial litigation.

In addition to her role as Chief Legal Officer, Ms. Wolmart is a diversity champion committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession. She serves as Executive Sponsor of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Prudential’s Law, Compliance, Business Ethics and External Affairs Department. She has also been honored with multiple awards for her commitment to civil justice and diversity and inclusion, including the LatinoJustice PRLDEF Lucero Award, the Hispanic National Bar Foundation Corporate Leadership Award, and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association Women’s Initiatives and Leaders in the Law Corporate Sector Award. Ms. Wolmart holds a B.A. in Political Science from Wellesley College and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
