Laytoamb Wiggins

Laytoamb Wiggins is the human resources director at the law firm of Hembree Bell, PLLC in Texas. He is a strategic HR leader with more than 20 years of experience driving people-centered strategies that align with business goals. He began his career at Nordstrom, where he spent 22 years developing his leadership approach through a servant leadership lens. During that time, he led HR operations across multiple regions, helping to build a culture rooted in excellence, inclusion, and employee growth. 

Over the past five years, Wiggins led HR functions for a small manufacturer and a growing media company supporting each through periods of transition. In these roles, he built talent strategies from the ground up, launched leadership development programs, and improved retention and performance through data-informed strategies. He has worked with executive teams to align “people strategies” with business needs and organizational goals. 

Outside work, Wiggins is an avid runner and devoted sports fan. He has completed the Disney Dopey Challenge three times – 48.6 miles over four days – and brings that same resilience, focus, and determination to his leadership approach. He earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA at Western Governors University.
