Kenneth R. Feinberg is an internationally recognized dispute resolution attorney perhaps best known for his pro bono service as Special Master of the Federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001, appointed by President George W. Bush. In 33 months, Feinberg and his team reached out to thousands of qualified victims, evaluated applications, determined appropriate compensation, and disseminated awards. He shared his experience in the book “What Is Life Worth?” inspiration of the September 2021 Netflix film “Worth” where Feinberg is played by Michael Keaton. Feinberg also oversaw claims and assistance in the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster, the Boston Marathon bombing, and other high-profile cases. He enjoyed a distinguished teaching career as an adjunct professor at the law schools of Harvard, Georgetown, Colombia, and New York universities among other positions. He is a graduate of the New York University School of Law.
