Kelly LaGrave has been a legal assistant since 1984 and currently works in the legal department at Sparrow Health System in Lansing, MI. She specializes in the areas of business compliance, acquisitions, healthcare and contracts. She has a BA in international relations from James Madison College at Michigan State University, and holds ACP credentials in intellectual property, real estate, contracts administration, and contracts management. She frequently speaks to paralegal groups across the country on such topics as business, contracts, ethics, legal essay writing, and certification. She has served NALA in many capacities including as president. She is currently serving as chair of NALA’s Advanced Certified Paralegal Board.
