Kelli Fuqua is an associate attorney at Littler Mendelson in Austin, Texas. She advises and defends clients in a variety of employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, whistleblower, and wage and hour matters. Her experience includes litigation in front of federal and state courts, as well as in the alternative dispute arena.
Prior to joining Littler, Kelli first served as an assistant attorney general in the General Litigation Division of the Office of Attorney General, where she defended the state of Texas, its officials, and employees in constitutional and employment litigation matters in state and federal court. Kelli then worked as a litigation associate for a well-established Texas firm representing a variety of governmental and private entities in various matters, including employment, constitutional, contractual, and property disputes.
While in law school, Kelli clerked for two litigation boutiques, while actively participating in Texas Law’s mock trial program. Kelli also served as the managing editor of the Texas Entertainment and Sports Law Journal.
