Kellam Parks is a managing member of the Parks Zeigler, PLLC law firm in Virginia Beach. The firm is a paperless, technology-driven law practice. Parks frequently writes and speaks about the modernization and use of technology in the practice of law including ethics, electronically stored information, cybersecurity, and practice management and marketing. While his firm handles a variety of legal matters, Parks focuses on credit reporting, civil litigation, and cybersecurity.
When he founded the firm, Parks aimed to integrate modern technologies into the practice. Going paperless with cloud-based systems enables immediate and remote access for himself, attorneys and support staff, and clients. This has served the firm well as it expands. Attorneys and staff use digital technologies for all aspects of the practice, from legal research to trial presentation. The firm also harnesses the power of social media to inform the public on practice areas and to keep in touch with clients. Parks’ focus on technology keeps him current on the latest issues involving cybersecurity and data privacy.
Parks earned his bachelor’s degree at St. Andrews University and his JD at the William & Mary Law School.
