Judge Amy Meachum

Amy Clark Meachum is a judge of the Texas 201st District Court. She assumed office in 2011, with her current term ending in December 2026.

Meachum earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from Southern Methodist University, and went on to complete her J.D. at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from law school, Meachum entered into private practice. She first worked as an associate at Carrington Coleman until transitioning to McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, L.L.P., where she worked as a full-equity litigation partner before her election to the bench.
